CV Performance Group continuously ultimate benchmark
Kart Republic team prepared for title win
This past weekend the second to last race of the ADAC Kart Masters in Kerpen was scheduled for the CV Performance Group. The Kart Republic team started with seven drivers on the Erflandring where the team around Christian Voß, once again, gave everything. At the X30 Seniors, Linus Jansen and Louis Kulke won.
With the event this past weekend on the Erftlangring in Kerpen, the ADAC Kart Masters is looking back on the half final of this year’s season. The starting field was filled with 147 driver and already promised some action ahead of time. The drivers were especially supported by the weather. Petrus did not show himself from his best side and made, with alternating conditions, for an extra portion suspense.
Ambitioned as usual, Linus Jansen started at the X30 Seniors and already delivered in the heats. From pole position the youngster went into the first final. In leading position, he distanced himself from his chaser and team colleague Louis Kulke. The two CVPG fosterlings were placed on rank one and two, until the duo made for an exchange of blows in the second race. Louis took over leading position and drove with Linus together a double success.
O’Neill Muth delivered a phenomenal race catching up. After kinky heats the Belgian driver qualified in 34th position for the final in the last second and turned up there. From the end of the field O’Neill raced onto position six in the rainy first final until he was even standing on the podium being ranked third in the second race. Claudia Henning presented herself in dry conditions with a usual good speed and got placed second after the heats. On Sunday the fast lady bemoaned the difficult conditions on the 1.107 meter long track but convinced nevertheless with two 14th places.
After being ranked in fifth position after qualifying everything was looking promising for Ferdinand Winter. In the races the youngster did not find his rhythm fast enough and ended up on ranks 28 respectively 16. Team colleague Louis Klinkhammer was placed 31st after the heats but improved henceforth consequently and was finally placed 19th.
Chris Rosenkranz went solo to the OK. In the for him new category the youngster kept collecting important experiences and was ultimately placed each time 19th in the solidly middle field.
This weekend we were able to make important steps regarding the championship. After the great events our drivers are now placed on ranks one to four in the overall rankings. The title in our rows is now more than readily available – in the final in Wackersdorf all our drivers will give it all
head of the team Christan Voß was looking forward to the last ranked races in the end of September in Prokart Raceland.
Before that, the highlight of the years is waiting for the team. These upcoming weekends are completely in the colors of the kart world championship. After a test race, the determinations for the world championship crown are scheduled to take place the first weekend in September in Finland.
