CV Performance Group ends WSK on the podium
Lorenzo Travisanutto ranked third in the WSK Super Masters Series
This past weekend the final of the WSK Super Masters Series took place in the Italian Sarno. The CV Performance Group counted with its drivers to the title favorites and celebrated the podium result that so much attention has been given to – bad luck in the final prevented the jump onto the topmost step of the podium.
After the enthralling races in Adria, Lonato and La Conca, the CV Performance Group continued to travel to Sarno. The last races of the WSK Super Masters Series took place in front of the gateway to Naples. In the OK-class, the Kart Replublic-Team was continuously battling head to head for the top positions and wanted to get the title with Lorenzo Travisanutto.
The Italian driver started out taking it easy in the qualifying and the heats but in the pre-final, he went into attack mode. Coming in second, he had a strong starting position for the final. In the final, luck was not on his side. Through tough fights he temporarily dropped out and lost a lot of ground. Until the checkered flag came out he fought his way up to rank six. Unfortunately that was not enough for the title win, regardless the team was very satisfied:
After the mistake there was not a lot more to get, we proved our competitiveness on every track and belong to the top three. That is in our first complete OK-season a great success.

Additionally to Travisanutto, Nikolas Pirittilahti started for the first time for the team from Altendiez. He got comfortable early on and with fast lap times in the heats he drew attention. Ranked 13 in the temporary rankings, he was placed in the wind shadow of his team mates and caught up likewise in the pre-final. With the fastest lap he raced onto rank five and verified his abilities in the final coming in ninth.
Nikolas satisfied throughout the entire weekend. I am very pleased with his presentation and expect a lot from him in the course throughout the year.
Christian Voß complimented his new member.
Also, continuously on the rise is the Youngster Arthur Tohum. Disregarding one absence he got into the top 20 in the heats and had a chance to get into the final. Unfortunately an accident prevented the expected qualification in the pre-final.
Arthur is getting faster each weekend. In Sarno he started for the first time and got quickly used to the track. He has to maintain his learning curve, then he is on a good way.
Christian Voß added.
Already next weekend, the team will continue. Then the kick-off of the WSK Euro Series takes place in Sarno and at the same time the team starts at the IAME X30 Euro Challenge in Mariembourg (Belgium), a double task that the CV Performance Group has to overcome.
