The HTP Kart Team is going as half time winner into the remaining races of the WSK Super Masters Series.
The KR-Team set the foundation on the 1200 meter long South Garda Circuit in Lonato. Over 330 drivers from all around the world dueled for more championship points under best weather conditions.
As winner of the Winter Cup one week ago, Lorenzo Travisanutto counted as favorite again. After ranking sixth in qualifying and fifth in the ranking after heats, the Italian driver was once again placed in the upper ranks. In the pre-final, the jump to the top followed. In a strong race he took the win and with this a perfect baseline for the final.
Everything is going as planned. Lorenzo is very fast and can take the victory
team leader Christian Voß says confidently. The race in the OK-class showed an enthralling fight between the drivers. Lorenzo was leading in the beginning of the race and came in second. With this, he developed his overall ranking in the half time,
this was a strong and exciting race. Now we are going as leading position into the remaining races and want to defend our position
Voß adds.Additionally to the reigning world champion Travisutto, the German Youngster Arthur Tohum was represented at the race. After an obvious upwards trend, this race did not go perfect for the Junior and he missed the battle for the pre-final.
In two weeks, the team will continue in the next race of the WSK Super Masters Series in the Southern Italian La Conca.
