Victorious weekend for CV Performance Group
Success in the WSK, the ADAC Kart Masters and the ADAC GT4 Germany
A full program was on the schedule for this past weekend for the CV Performance Group. Drivers started in three different locations and celebrated big success. The team is now leading in the WSK Euro Series and the ADAC Kart Masters. Simultaneously two new drivers gave their premiere in the ADAC GT4 Germany.
Sunday night Christian Voß and his team celebrated multiple victories. The drivers of the KR team were spread all over Europe and had successful results throughout the last weeks.
The second race of the WSK Euro Series took place in Angerville, France. Lorenzo Travisanutto and Nikolas Pirttilathi started. Already after the heats Travisanutto was leading the field and also did not give up his position throughout the race. With the victory he was taking over the leading position in the championship. His Finnish team colleague was also ranked in top position and finally became excellent seventh.
At the same time six drivers started at the ADAC Kart Masters in Ampfing and dominated the field of the X30 Seniors. In qualifying, heats and in both finals a driver of the CV Performance Group was placed each in an upper ranking. Linus Jansen became the winner of the first race, followed by Claudia Henning, O’Neill Muth, and Louis Kulke. Latter made the jump onto rank one in the second run and at the same time drove the fastest lap. This time Muth and Jansen completed the winners podium. Henning was placed ninth, in front of Kris Rosenkranz on rank 14 and the 20th Ferdinand Winter. In the overall rankings four drivers of the team are placed in the top five.
We can be very satisfied with the results in Angerville and Ampfing. It could not have gone any better. The entire team does a great job and everybody has one goal – to win
head of the team Christian Voß concluded the weekend.
Simultaneously to both kart races, two former kart drivers gave their debut in the ADAC GT4 Germany. The race series celebrated its debut in Oschersleben. Jan Philipp Springob and Luci Trefz started as juniors of the CV Performance Group and showed strong performances. Both started with a Mercedes AMG GT4. Youngster Trefz ended both races ranked eight and seventh in the top ten. Especially in the second run he showed a great catching up race. After an accident in qualifying he fought his way from the end of the field towards rank seven together with his team mate.
Springob was satisfied: "Despite little test kilometers in advance of the race he also counted to the top ten at the super sports cars and ended the race being placed twelfth and 15th. In the second run the drivers duo was ranked further top, ultimately a drive-through penalty set them back."
In the beginning of June the GT4 drivers continue. Then the championship will take place on the Red-Bull Ring in Austria. In two weeks the kart drivers will start again. The second round of the German Kart championship will take place in Wackersdorf.
